Board of Trustees

The Belton Educational Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and is registered with the state of Missouri. The Foundation is governed by a group of community volunteers who preside over the foundation as the Board of Trustees.

Board Officers

Joye Conklin

President
Joye Conklin is the President/CEO at R-G Federal Credit Union in Belton and a 1974 graduate of Belton High School. She joined the Board of Trustees in 2015.

Chris Gentile

Vice President
Chris Gentile joined the Board of Trustees in 2017. He is recently retired as President of Honeywell after 27 years of service.

Scott Swaggart

Treasurer
Scott joined the Board of Trustees in 2017. He is a local real estate professional with a passion for entrepreneurship, education, and leadership within the community. He also serves on several local and philanthropic boards in Kansas City.

Jacqueline Cook

Past President
Jacqueline Cook is a partner at Franke, Schultz & Mullen where her focus is in civil and complex litigation, as well as appellate work. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Circuit Judge for Division I (2001-2012), as well as Presiding Judges of the 17th Judicial Circuit, Cass and Johnson Counties.

Nick Boeth

Nick is a 2010 Belton High School and Rockhurst University graduate. Working in public accounting as a CPA, he's made his way back to Belton to work in real estate. He enjoys being outdoors, giving back to the community, and spending time with family and friends.

Charlotte Bradley

Charlotte Bradley is a long-time Belton resident and currently works for the Belton School District as a Learning Mentor. She joined the Belton Educational Foundation Board of Trustees in 2018.

Amber Branson

Amber re-joined the board in January 2019. She and her husband, Lonnie are local Belton residents and business owners. They have a passion for community and supporting students.

Karen Fletcher

Karen Fletcher, owner of Fletcher's Forms in downtown Belton, currently serves on the Board of Education for the Belton School District. She joined the Foundation Board of Trustees as Liaison.

Nathan Irvin

Nathan Irvin is the President of Rajeunir Medical Spas. He has a passion for public education and has served on the Board of Trustees since 2014.

Kathy Muder

Long-time Belton resident and graduate, Kathy Muder joined the Foundation board in 2017. She taught for 40 years, retiring in 2017 from the Belton School District after 35 years. She serves now as a specialty substitute in the district.

Patté Klaus Schreihofer

Patté Klaus Schreihofer joined the Board in 2009. A proud Belton graduate and resident, she is the owner and head floral designer of Klaus’ Rose Farm, a fixture in the community since 1919.

Christina Parle

Christina Parle joined the Board of Trustees in September 2019. Christina works in the field of higher education and has worked primarily in student conduct and sorority and fraternity life. She is a 2010 Belton graduate.

Joe Ledford

Joe Ledford joined the Board of Trustees in 2018. After serving 31 years with the Kansas City Star, Joe moved into the real estate industry with Keller Williams Southland Partners.

Cynthia Riddle

Cynthia Riddle has been a resident of Belton for 16+ years. Two of her sons have graduated from the district. She has a desire to contribute to the education and well-being of students in Belton. She is an IT Business Analyst for American Multi-Cinema, Inc (AMC Theatres). Cynthia joined the board in December 2018.

Kathy Morton

A long-time Belton resident and community member, Kathy Morton joined the Belton Educational Foundation Board of Trustees in December 2018.

Dr. Kenneth Southwick

Dr. Kenneth Southwick is a founding member of the Belton Educational Foundation and former Superintendent of Belton School District. He now serves as Executive Director of Cooperating School Districts of Greater Kansas City.

Dr. Andrew Underwood

Dr. Andrew Underwood is the current Superintendent of the Belton School District #124. He has his Doctorate in Educational Leadership and has been in the field of education since 1996.

Dr. Bob Poisal

Bob Poisal currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent, Finance & Support Services for Belton School District #124. He joined the Board of Trustees as an ex-officio member in 2018.
